    We came, we saw...we

We have a smaller three person tent that has the same thermal and acoustic insulation but without the living space. How does that sound?

Really its for families to go camping for a week or so in one area. It gives you a lot of living space. You can put in a table and chairs or whatever you like. Think of it as a Glamping ready tent.

    For tent enthusiasts...

Tents and books just go together. We were on a photoshoot on the side of a cliff here in Eire so for lunch I just closed myself up inside the tent to read Terry Pratchett. Never would have thought acoustic insulation could be of so much use! :)

    Tight or loose clothes

I never know what to wear when going through bog. You might have to go from bog to walking through streams to climbing up loose stone all within five minutes and it will probably rain too but you will still be too hot and that before you even think about the wind! I love Ireland :D

The wooden floor is part of our glamping tent. It has a large wooden frame and its on stilts too. As soon as we can I'll post more photos of it. Its available now, you can buy through our e-Store and we'll ship it to you :)

    For tent enthusiasts...

Field Candy had a pretty successful equity crowdfunding campaign recently. More than double their original goal. We're doing the same at Thermo Tent at the moment if anyone would like to check it out. I do love the customisation element of field candy tents.

We're in Kerry, the south west of Ireland. If you ever make it over here you really must go camping.

We've been camping a few times. Or as we like to call it, "testing". Got pretty windy this day but it was worth it for the view.

@Northern Dancer Most of our sales are to the US, I'm not worried about people not adapting to our design...unless you mean an actual lake, then I'd be very interested to see that lake :P We have a large glamping tent coming too. Though this one isn't insulated yet.

That's our Thermo Tent. The final tent is in production now so it may look a little different again. But its 7 meters in length total so plenty of living space. Really can't wait to get the new tent out into the woods, I'll be sure to share the photos with you guys.

We had a bit more than a stretch of tarp when we went out to Killarney National Park. But it was such a beautiful day here in Ireland. Plenty of trees and rocks and sunshine.
