I think Alaska would be like the Wild West, to be honest. I'm not sure what grip law enforcement has on the more isolated spots. In that case, I don't know if just average campers, lacking the right skills, should try it. I'd want to experience both.

So how can we prevent animals from coming in? Keep the food in containers? Eat all of it before bedtime? How good is the tent, though? Surely they have better ones!

What exactly are the obstacles? I wouldn't try that in my area cause there are too many private gun owners! But anyway, even the situation I mentioned is using paid campsites - usually the cheapest, often found on bnb sites.

It's Naked and Afraid. Could you all survive on it? What would be your typical game plan? So do you feel disgusted by those who tap out? Do you feel pity for them? What do you think they're doing wrong? In other words, generally, what made them fall?

I think it would be an adventure and I think someone could survive. I mean, it's kind of like one of those Naked and Afraid shows. However, It has to be far more easier! Do you all think it would be easier? Why would people possibly assume such a person was a thief?

Even if there was a big snow where I live (in East Tennesseee, USA), there certainly wouldn't be enough to make a snow fort or igloo. In that case, a tent would be a must. Anyway, regarding the last year, there wasn't any snow worth mentioning!

Would this compare to an igloo? Is it the same thing? If it doesn't totally protect you, then it can't be an igloo.

Across the creek (stream) from my parent's home are some reeds. Anyway, I figure since they look like commercial tent poles, they'd be good for making a tent. So has anyone tried to use them? Well, as a kid, I tried to make some tents, but they were never as good as the commercial, not even...

A used camper could be a good deal for a home. I mean, I wouldn't be ashamed to live in one! In fact, with some minor repairs, it could be quite good looking. Has anyone considered using a used camper, or new one for that matter, as a home?
