Bringing cooked food to a camping trip

Alexandoy

Pathfinder
In the olden days, what we do is to cook the food early in the morning right before leaving for the campsite. That is to ensure that the food is freshly cooked. However, there was a time that our lunch was kind of delayed due to unexpected traffic on the road and the food got slightly spoiled. Now, we had changed the style. We cook the food one day before and let it stay in the fridge. Bringing refrigerated food for the trip makes it safe even if it takes 5 hours before being eaten. And at the campsite, just be prepared to reheat the food because it’s not nice to eat cold food.
