I finally made it. I am at Mille Lacs Kathio State Park. We had some rain last night and the skeeters have been horrible but still loving it. Getting ready to go on a hike with the family and I will share some pics when I get back.

Great pics @Madman4800 - what's that creature to the upper right? Not the dog...the other one? :)

Man...I miss my dog; every time I see one I get all choked up.

You have a fabulous time - MY THE FOREST BE WITH YOU!

That's my gorgeous wife. She brings all the common sense to the relationship. There goes the knive trowing competition with the kids. Hahaha!!! Sorry about your dog. I think mine just found a grease spot.

Whenever I would see pictures of camping here, I can’t help but be green with envy. I used to camp a lot when I was a teenager and even when I was already working, I go to the wilderness with the gang once in a while. The last time was a long time ago, there were 13 of us and we slept in just 1 big tent. You can imagine the fun. But now it’s a family affair in camping and we usually go to mountain resorts, some have facilities and some have little facilities. I have noticed the dog. Yeah, we also bring along our dogs when we go on a camping trip.
