Yeah, sorry about the late answer 
, but I can confirm it's pretty popular, at least in Portugal and we do have stunning places that you can visit and camp. As we have a huge coastline you can imagine, we have quite a few paradise locations we want to camp there forever. There are places where is forbidden to camp, but even so there are quite a few great locations.
