Remember that meteor that came down from the sky in a blaze of light? Well it looks like they are going to be tracking down where it landed to analyze its composition.

So it was rock and iron. But it sure caused a lot of trouble. It's amazing that a meteor did $33 million dollars worth of damage, injured 1,000 people, damaged 4,700 buildings and you can't even blame anyone or sue anyone for damages.

The article said that some people are selling fragments of the meteorite on eBay for $4,000. I think the Russian government should be the ones auctioning off meteorite fragments so they can continue the extensive cleanup and repairs.

Indeed, I can see it now! Meteor fragments being sold in Russian tourist shops, I guess some people think it would make great memorabilia if they are willing to pay $4000.
