    Stove for Hot Tenting

@katskamper Which one? :) I have eleven of them. Though I will assume you mean the tent that I use my stove in. It is an Alaknak 10 X 10 [Winter - having a stove jack]. The stove would have no problem heating up my 12 X 12 Alaknak or similar product.

Pitching a tent in the forest

@dads318is - I like to think you have come to the right place. There are some experienced almost professional campers on this Forum, unfortunately not all communicate with one another. @killeroy154 has years of sound experience and is a very talented guy. As for me - I eat this stuff...

    'ol time campin....

"Ya know somethin?" an older gentleman said to me. "I shore do miss campin the old way." "The old way?" I inquired. "Yep," he said. "Ya know - canvass tents, Dutch ovens, kerosene lanterns, cast iron frying pans and smokin a sea-gar around the campfire?' As he painted the scene for me I said...

    A floating tent?

Six inches of air sits between you and the lake’s surface. A third air tube blows up to erect the tent frame. And the whole enchilada inflates with an included foot pump. You can use the raft portion of the product alone and float around on the lake. But really, it comes into its own unique...

    Plastic tent

You mean something like this -----> "No tanks!" I stick to my standard brands that have protected me against the elements for years. Though - I have used shelters.
