    Finished. Great Read.

Woke up early with a pressing weight on my stomach, so I thought I would finish my book. I am a slow reader and very destructive to poor paper products. Despite the coffee stains and edge crumpled pages, this book was excellent. I felt that i was on the adventure with Kyle Rohrig. [emoji106]...

    The Goods on Food Coolers

Wow that's pricey! I would hope it does as well as it claims to. I have had a few 4 day trips where every thing stayed good and cold in a cheap cooler, but it never got above 50 degrees outside [emoji6]

    Picnic?

Great pictures you 2. It is nice just to get away for a day. I grew up on the other side of lake Michigan from where you were, I guess you were on the west side of the lake. Cool out but beautiful.

Good looking packable saw. I think next camp saw I buy will be a rechargeable chain saw. Wow I was just joking around! New camp equipment!

Choice Between Hiking Boots or Trail Runners

It is a beautiful place. I hear that all the way through Maine it's gorgeous. I only know this area. I spend maybe 100 dollars on hiking shoes less if I get them on sale. I won't spend more than that unless I was going to carry a 50 pound pack and spend more than a couple of days out hiking...

Choice Between Hiking Boots or Trail Runners

Found a few pics on line of some of the trails where you do not want to get hurt. Ramsey cascades this was a 4 mile hike. 8 miles round trip. I had to throw my cheap hiking shoes away after this one. This was the first hike I worn these fairly new shoes on. My heel punched through sole of the...

Choice Between Hiking Boots or Trail Runners

I have to admit. I have never carried a 50 plus pound pack while hiking. I done day hikes only, and dream of doing long distance over night trips, but reality is I might never do it. My wife and I hiked alot about 9 years ago, I was in my early forties, we done several round trip hikes...

A further note on the multitool. I used it to stitch up a pair of shoes while I was at home [emoji106] [emoji106]

I was looking at straps in an outdoor store and I just didn't want to cough up 30 bucks. I looked on ebay after I left. I am a cheap sucker. The last straps I bought had no loops made to them, they sucked and didn't work out. Thanks for advice.
