...I remembered when Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau's son Michael was killed in an avalanche. It was sad - he too decided to ignore the signs and skied in an area that was noted for it's danger. Then again, there will be people canoeing in early May and not bother to put on a life jacket or consider the conditions around them.
