I will start off with favorite dessert. we love smores. That is graham crackers and chocolate bars, and marshmellows. Place a chocolate bar between two grahman crackers. Toast one or two marshmellows over the fire until lightly brown on all sides. Add hot marshmellows on top of the chocolate bar and press the graham crackers together. Yum!

Meals: We used to take hotdogs & a can of baked beans, and hotdog buns. Cook hotdogs over the fire. yum!
Or take chunks of meat and peeled potatoes cut in chunks, carrots cut in chunks, onion and celery cut up and salt & pepper, and Mrs Dash or herbmare seasoning. Take a piece of strong foil and put all ingredients in middle of the foil and fold ends together and fold to close into a square package. Place into the fire pit close to the fire and let it cook for 35 minutes then check to see if it is done, if not put back close to fire. It is done when a knife or fork goes into vegetables with ease. Very good filling meal.
Mountain house meals.
Take ingredients to make a soup with fresh vegetables.
Any of these meals could be made in a camping or cabin setting.
