What do you think of the Gerber Bear Grylls Ultimate Multi-Tool? What are your thoughts of the pros and cons of this multi tool model? I like the ergonomic rubber grip comfort design (reduces slippage) it has what's yours?

I checked it out online and it looks like a well thought out piece of kit. I do own a Gerber Critical which is much smaller and it has held up nicely with average use.

Some of the US military forces use Gerber multi tools so like most things I bet you get what you pay for.

Gerber products overall have a good reputation of affordable and well made. Alot of our U.S. Armed Forces are getting both Gerber and Leatherman multi tools issued to them. I do have to say if it's good enough for them ,then it's good enough for me.

The pricing is not too bad actually, $58 on their official website and you can usually find things for significantly less than the listed price.

reply: If you checkout ebay you'll find them for about $25 dollars new. I never buy retail because it costs way to much. Walmart's already got enough money without mine. lol
