Little bit picture heavy, so here is after the bridge. Sorry if some of the pictures sideways, you can cock your head like I do. After the foot bridge the trail got a little more rugged. The real stoney areas was where cliffs further up gave way. The first picture, if you look up near the top...
Since it cooled off a little yesterday, we took a short hike to Margarette Falls. It was maybe 1.5 miles to the falls from the parking lot. It was plenty rocky and rooted and followed a small stream most of the way. The first 1/2 mile looked to be an old road bed, so it was a pleasant stroll for...
I've been seeing a lot of those old Coleman lanterns showing up at antique stores.
Oh I just remembered a time when my brother and I were camping down by a creek that was maybe a 100 yards from the house. Dad worked an afternoon shift at his job, and he would get home about midnight or so...

I loved your video ND.
Are most people camping? Or are you just holding in the air conditioning waiting for cooler weather?
Me personally it's just to hot in these parts for my liking. Most times this time of year I don't have the urge for camping. I do look at past fall pictures, and that does lift my spirits. The...
The seat backrest is done. It is removable and reversible. When I make another one, for the stern seat, I will make it a little lower and narrower. But I'm happy with the results.
