    Canoe seat upgrade

That looks really nice, and much much better than the bar with what is guess is called a cushion attached to it, which is what I am current working with. I bet you get that satisfaction of making your own too, but either way this is probably something I need to look into, and this looks like...

    I Like Lights!

I love all the newer and modern camping gear that is less intrusive but just smart, and a lot of these lighting fixtures are just that. One of my friends has one of those fan like things that light up when you open it and it is really cool and barely uses any power at all, and it has good range.

    Any Vegan Campers?

I am not a vegan but if I were out camping for a long period of time I think it would be easier for me to go that way. I happen to love just plain old rice and beans and when that is the best option available, as it often is on my camping trips, seems like that would be a good place to try it out.

    Creating a snow cave

This is one thing that I have always wanted to learn a little more about. I do not really plan on needing it for anything in particular, but in terms of a skill to add to the repertoire it would be nice to have. You always hear about how warm they are so I would be curious to experience it.

    Buy any equipment recently?

I did get some new iodine tablets that I am curious about and looking forward to trying out. It is nothing really new but they are a little different then the ones I usually get so we shall see. I am at that point where I have all my trust things so I do not need to buy too much new stuff...

    That Certain TV Show!

I have never really sat down and watched a whole episode and I am pretty sure that is it for the very reasons mentioned above. It is distracting and just a little bit weird, but I can also see it as a show that has a good following and people can get into, but just not me at the current moment.

    Just appreciating nature

I love camping when there is a full moon out. I am not sure exactly what it is or a combination of several other things but it just makes it much more enjoyable for me. They always seem to be a little more spooky too, if you like that sort of thing.

    Broiled vegetables

I am not sure that I have ever had a banana bloom but now I want to add that to my list of things to try. No better way to experience it I guess then out at the campsite surrounded by some good sites. It just sounds like I would like it too.

    Swimming during summer time

Unfortunately the water around where I will be going soon is still probably pretty cold but I still have to get it, but I wish it were warmer so I could swim sooner. Just gotta spend that time on all the other things I guess.

The net is useful in camping trips

I am not sure I would have much luck with fishing with a net but I could catching some other things. Now that I think about it though I bet there are some really inventive types of nets that are probably really good for fishing, at least in some places.

    Camping in Alaska

Well that sounds pretty intense without really even knowing all that much of the details. I would almost guarantee that whatever sights you can see up there would be worth any of the risk that comes with the territory. It is a vast area so I would be curious to learn about all the different...

    Shelter for Winter Camping

Well I have not used one but just the name alone makes me want to get or try the igloo for my winter camping, but the truth is there is not really all that much of that anymore. I did have a string of really cold trips and I just remember compiling whatever we could for insulation, and of...

    New to Camping?

Well that is really the beauty of it in that there is never an end and always something left to explore. I guess when you see it that way we are all kind of amateurs in our own right, at least for those places we have not been.

    Necessities

I bet that rope is one that probably gets left off of a list here or there, and I have probably been guilty of that. When you think about things that are versatile and trusty though you would be hard pressed to come up with a better choice.

    The reliable pup tent

Well sorry to hear that you lost it and had to part with it. I had a few of similar looking ones that brought back some good memories and I wish I could have them back for a day or two just to get some memories and get a good laugh.
