    Kinda Curious...

What are you going to do related to Yurts? Are you going to build one yourself? Do you have a nice spot picked out?

    Torn Camping Clothes?

Yes definitely, thicker materials without any fine threads that can get caught on things are usually better. Although depending on the weather that might not be a compromise you want to make. Materials like denim and khaki are pretty good for pants. Depending on where you are trekking you might...

    Self-Made Fishing Spear?

I can't say that I have, would you mind sharing your method? How well did it end up working for you in the end? If I had to guess I would think that a 4 pronged one would be better than a single pronged one but also a lot trickier to make if you are limited to the materials and technology in...

    Best Instant Tent?

That's a popular tent based on my anecdotal experience, I've seen it mentioned a few times on these forums and I think I have a friend that has one as well.

Awesome, it looks great! I was wondering when someone would finally post some pictures of their patch :D If you wouldn't mind, could you post a higher resolution picture of that or others if you have them, in the crests/patches discussion for others to see? FREE Patches/Crests now available...

    Portable Camping Cooking Bag...

Precooked chicken/turkey/ham? For warming things up it would be excellent I think but I don't know if I could trust it to fully cook meat, especially since I would begin to panic about whether it would run out of heat before I could finish cooking. Getting food poisoning would not be fun :grumpy:

    Recent Violence Uprisings

It seems to me like camping would the opposite type of activity that would attract that sort of behaviour. Usually that kind of stuff happens when there is a higher density of people around I think.

    Everything But The Kitchen Sink

Haha A cast iron griddle is perfect for on top of a grate. It helps distribute the heat more evenly too if you're cooking. Is there an egg allergy or something in your family? They are one of my favorite foods! (See the icon for the food section) :p That is a lot.... Do you use a trailer to...

    Big Savings on Camping Gear

It will be for reviewing products bought elsewhere, at least that is the plan for now. I have noticed the same thing, it was part of my inspiration. I think we have a community with a lot of collective knowledge that could be useful in the review format. This is possible but I think it might...

    Portable Camping Cooking Bag...

That's pretty toasty, what have you cooked with it? Is that hot enough to cook raw meat? The heating packs makes it sound similar to these guys (hand warmers)
