How about ear plugs, headache medicine, and lots of snack food to eat up all your anxiety and depression as your children risk life and limb chasing woodland creatures and butterflies. Also bring first aid kit and your sense of humor and pray that it does not rain. :rolleyes::(:banghead:

We have black bears in our area and the only problem we have with them is when they raid the garbage cans in town and the bigger trash bins at campgrounds. They can not resist a free hand out. I have also heard of truck bed covers being ripped to get at a cooler underneath and back windows...

I found this handy idea for making a bed out of logs and rope. Looks like it would be comfortable. Tell me if it fits in, not to big for your gadget page, @Northern Dancer.

I'll bet there will be lots of long distance backpackers taking on this trail. It makes me tired just looking at the map. It will be a wonderful experience for many who love the exploring of trails and nature abound. Thanks for sharing this. :cool::bear:
