Tilley Hat Works In The Rain.

I hope it does not shrink when he puts it in very hot water cause then he will have to wait for it's replacement in the mail. It looks very sturdy and comfortable to wear. I usually wear a ball cap or go without a hat but I might look into these as they have sturdy brims and I like that in a hat.

I think every time we watch a video about hiking or backpacking, someone mentions they had food mailed to them for restocking their supplies. Dutch Oven Cooking In A Campfire

Here is another way to cook with dutch ovens and create a good breakfast meal. Again this method calls for using charcoal, but could easily be adapted to campfire coals. Enjoy! All of the cooking was not included in this video, however, I wanted to show mainly his set up for cooking in...

    Cool Chair!!

I saw this chair online and it looked to be safe and comfortable. Sure beats some of the chairs out there that do not have comfy seats or are hard to set up. I think it would be easy to fall asleep in as your swinging back and forth. Christmas is a coming...

Dutch Oven Cooking In A Campfire

Deer Roast In Brown Gravy Made me a bit nervous when he poured the oil in the pot. I think I would add the oil before putting it on the hot coals in middle of campfire. Sure makes me hungry though. What are your thoughts on this subject? Have you cooked using a dutch oven?

Dutch Oven Cooking In A Campfire

In the old days or on western movies on TV, there was always someone using a dutch oven to make biscuits or cornbread, stew or chili. A dutch oven makes camping extra fun and provides more types of foods then just the regular flair. If buying a dutch oven for use in camping make sure you get a...

    Dangers in trail hiking

Here is a danger most of us really want to avoid. The moral of this story is always look carefully around yourself and check out the ground carefully before you sit down. If this does ever happen to you don't move a muscle, don't talk, don't wiggle your fingers, just wait it out and hope it...
